After a rather lengthy delay from when it was originally planned, (yep, still catching up from
Covid) the idea of traversing one of Europe's most stunning, but lesser known, ranges still held the same alure.
Now, this was sold to me as a short trip whilst still achieving a pretty decent objective. A full traverse of the Fagaras Ridge, some 50 odd miles with 5000 + metres of ascent. The focus was really on enjoying the route as apposed to suffering throughout. That didn't didn't go completely to plan!
